Day 01: Arrive Delhi – Varanasi, by flight
On arrival at Delhi international airport meet with our representative and transfer to the hotel for fresh-n-up. (Budget hotel will be given at Delhi for just fresh-n-up and breakfast). Later after breakfast transfer to the airport to board the flight for Varanasi. Upon arrival at Varanasi airport meet with our representative and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02: Varanasi
In the morning take a boat cruise at river Ganges to observe the life of pilgrims who pray by the Ghats of Varanasi. Next go for an excursion to Sarnath, located 10 Km East of Varanasi. It is one of the major Buddhist centres of India. After attaining enlightenment, the Buddha came to Sarnath where he gave his first sermon. In the evening visit Aarti darshan at river ghat. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Varanasi – Ayodhya
After breakfast drive to Ayodhya. On arrival check in at the hotel. After fresh-n-up city tour of Ayodhya visiting Babri Masjid and Ram Janmabhumi, Kanak Bhavan , Nageshwarnath Temple, Treta ke Thakur. Overnight stay at hotel.
Ayodhya means 'that which cannot be subdued by war', where the turbulence always subsides letting the city return to its original, peaceful holy avataar. Ayodhya - a small, calm city where sadhus mingle with pious pilgrims and the occasional tourist, where even the sunset on the banks of the Sarayu river is good for the soul.
It is India's holiest cities, where the religious faiths of Buddhism, Jainism, Hinduism and Islam converged together to create a place of monumental sacred importance. Ayodhya was described in the tharvaveda as a city built by gods and being as prosperous as paradise itself. It was the ancient capital of the powerful kingdom of Kosala and an important trade centre in 600 BC. Historians have identified it as Saketa, an important Buddhist centre in the 5th century BC (the Buddha is said to have visited Ayodhya on many occasions) which it remained until the 5th century AD.
Day 04: Ayodhya – Haridwar, by train
After breakfast visit Lakshmana Ghat, Mani Parbat & Hanumangarh. Later in the afternoon transfer to the railway station to board the a/c sleeper train for Hairdwar. Overnight on board.
Day 05: Haridwar - Rishikesh
Upon arrival at Haridwar railway station meet with our representative and leave for Rishikesh. Upon arrival transfer to the Ashrama. Rest of the day free to participate in the services offered by the Ashrama. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.
Day 06: Rishikesh
Participate in Ashrama day to day activity. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 07: Rishikesh – Haridwar – Mathura, by train
Early morning transfer to Haridwar railway station to board the train for Mathura. On arrival at Mathura railway station meet with our representative and drive to Mathura. Upon reaching transfer to the hotel. After fresh-n-up temple tour of Mathura & Vrindavan. Overnight stay at hotel.
Mathura, The land where Shri Krishna was born and spent his youth, has today little towns and hamlets that are still alive with the Krishna legend and still redolent with the music of his flute. Mathura, a little town on the River Yamuna was transformed into a place of faith after Lord Krishna was born here. Vrindavan, a village - once noted for its fragrant groves, is where he spent an eventful youth. There are numerous other little spots in the area that still reverberate with the enchantment of Shri Krishna.
Day 08: Mathura – Delhi, 147 km
Morning aarti darshan at shri Dwarkadheesh temple. Later in the afternoon drive to Delhi. On arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 09: Delhi – Jammu - Katra
Transfer to the airport to board the flight for Jammu. On arrival at Jammu airport meet with our representative and drive to Katra. On arrival check in at the hotel. Our representative will describe you about the Yatra & next day program. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 10: Katra – Vaishno Devi – Katra
Morning start the 14 Kms hilly track between Katra and Bhawan contains number of ancient temples and view-points for rest and enjoy natural beauty. The first stop is at Banganga, 1 Km away from Katra where one can have holy bath in the Banganga and have a Langer/Parshad (free food) run by famous T-series Industries.
The second stop Charanpadhuka is about 2.5 Kms away from Banganga. It is believed that Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji took rest while moving towards the Trikuta Hills. The place contains the foot prints of Goddess, and thus the place is named Charanpadhuka Temple..
The third stop Adkuwari is about 3 Kms from Charanpadhuka. Here one can stay for night as half of the journey is over. At Adkuwari the devotees can have Darshan of Adkuwari Temple and Gerbhjoon (an ancient Cave of about 20 feet). It is believed that Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji hide herself from Bairon Nath in this cave for 9 months.
After a steep height of about 4 Kms from Adkuwari the fourth and last stop is Sanjichat. The Sanjichat is the highest place in the track. One can enjoy the aerial view of Katra, Udhampur, Reasi and Jammu.
From Sanjichat about 2.5 Kms downhill track led to Bhawan the holy Shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi. About 0.5 Kms from Bhawan on the Bahawan-Sanjichat track an about 2 Kms link track lead to the Bairon Nath temple. Later trek back to Katra. On arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 11: Katra - Jammu – Delhi
After breakfast drive to Jammu. On arrival board the flight for Delhi. On arrival at Delhi meet with our representative and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 12: Delhi - Chennai – Mahabalipuram - Kanchipuram
Morning transfer to the airport to board the flight for Chennai. On arrival meet with our representative and drive to mahabalipurm. On arrival temple tour of Mahabalipuram. Later in the evening transfer to Kanchipuram for overnight stay. In Mahabalipuram will visit the Shore Temple, which has an intricately designed structure and consisits of two temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. You will also visit " Arjuna's Penance"at Mamallapuram , this is a amazing structure sculpted out of rock and this is also the world's largest bas relief .
Day 13: Kanchipuram – Tiruvannamalai, 128 km
Morning after breakfast, you will pay a visit to other important temples of Kanchipuram like the 16th century Ekambasreshwar Temple, Kamakshi Temple, dedicated to Goddess Parvati , and Vaikunta Perumal Temple. Later in the afternoon drive to Tiruvannamalai. Upon arrival check into the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 14: Tiruvannamalai - Chidambaram, 145 Km
Afternoon breakfast temple tour including Arunachaleswara Temple, dedicated to Lord Siva and it is one of the largest temples in India. Arunachaleswara temple is one of the "Panch Boodha Sthalams" and it is "Agni" Sthalam. It has also the importance as "Padal Petra Sthalam". That is the four famous 'Saiva Saints and Poets' such Appar, Sundarar, Manichkavasakar and Thirugnana Sambandar made several poems on Lord Arunachaleswara.
In the afternoon drive to Chidambaram. On arrival check into the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 15: Chidambaram - Trichy, 173 km
Morning temple tour of Chidambaram visiting Lord Nataraja temple, dedicated to God Siva in the form of a Cosmic Dancer. This is one of the few temples where Siva and Vishnu are enshrined under one roof. The Tamil Nadu between Vada Venkatam (North Thirupati) and Ten-Kumari is the holiest spot on earth - A Paradise on Earth and to merit this eulogy a divine fragrance permeates the Tamil land. Tamil itself is Sivam and it will be quite in order, to say that the Tamil land is a huge Siva shrine.
Later in the afternoon drive to Trichy. Upon arrival check into the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 16: Trichy – Madurai, 140 km
Morning after breakfast temple tour of Trichy visiting the 83 mt high rock fort & Srirangam a spectacular monument perched on a massive rocky out crop which rises abruptly from the plain to tower over the old city. It was one of the main centers around which the wars of the Carnatic were fought in the 18th century during the British-French struggle for supremacy in India.
Later in the afternoon drive to Madurai. Upon arrival check into the hotel. After fresh-n-up visit the Meenakshi temple for evening pooja. Overnight stay at hotel,.
Day 17: Madurai – Delhi, by flight - Departure
After breakfast temple tour of Madurai. Later in the afternoon transfer to the airport ot board the flight for Delhi. Upon arrival meet with our representative and transfer to the International airport to board the flight for onward destination.
